Product
The QFX5200 line provides line-rate, low-latency platforms for building large, standards-based fabrics. These switches offer flexible 10GbE, 25GbE, 50GbE, and 100GbE interfaces for server and intra-fabric connectivity. They are an optimal choice for spine-and-leaf deployments in enterprise, service provider, and cloud provider data centers, as well as for metro routing use cases.
This switching platform supports Juniper’s SONiC operating system implementation, delivering best-of-breed hardware and routing while taking advantage of the flexibility, resiliency, and cost savings of SONiC’s open and disaggregated architecture.
Manage your QFX5200 with turnkey Juniper Apstra software, which automates the entire network lifecycle to simplify design, deployment, and operations and provides closed-loop assurance.
Key Features
Use Case: Data Center Fabric Leaf/Spine
Port Density:
Throughput: Up to 3.6/6.4 Tbps (bidirectional)
SONiC: ONIE and SONiC images preinstalled on QFX5200-32C-S
Up to 6.4 Tbps line-rate, bidirectional, low-latency switching supports data center fabrics built on proven, scalable technology standards.
The switches support advanced networking features such as BGP Additional Paths, MPLS, Layer 3 VPN, and Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE).
The QFX5200 gives you the flexibility to use our hardware and routing in a data center network that runs Juniper’s SONiC disaggregated operating system implementation.
Support for intent-based automation, Terraform, Python, Puppet, Ansible, and zero-touch provisioning (ZTP) addresses growing network complexity in Day 0 to Day 2+ operations.
Juniper’s intent-based Apstra software provides full Day 0 through Day 2+ capabilities for IP/EVPN fabrics with closed-loop assurance in the data center.
For the third year, Gartner names Juniper a Leader in the Magic Quadrant for Data Center and Cloud Networking.
